Two homes, one city at heart
AGF was founded by two people who live the bridge it builds: one from beyond Türkiye who chose Antalya as home, and one who grew up in Türkiye and carries its culture to the world.
Prof. Bassem K. Khafagy
An academic, author and founder of international initiatives in higher education, who has made Antalya his home and writes about the city's soul, its people and its ideas.
Dr. Nurgül Karahan
An academic from Türkiye and a scholar of the Arabic language, who brings to AGF a deep cultural insight into Antalya and its place between East and West.
Together they have written books about Antalya that present the city as a living story rather than a destination. AGF is the home they built for everyone who feels the same.

Antalya matters, to us and to the world
Dear friend of Antalya,
Antalya is more than a city. It is a meeting place of sea and mountains, of memories and discoveries, of people who arrive from everywhere and somehow feel at home. We have walked its old streets, written about its light and its people, and listened to visitors from many countries who carried the city home with them.
We founded the Antalya Global Foundation on 07.07.2025 to give that feeling a home: a global circle of people who love Antalya, Türkiye, and who wish to present it to the world with depth and care, and to bring the world closer to it. AGF complements every effort that serves the city. It adds a global voice, made of many voices.
We invite you to join us, as a Friend, as a member or as a partner, and to share your own Antalya with the world.
